Happy Snow Day!

I have not forgotten about this blog -- the winter has just left me without inspiration and I figured readers did not what to hear me whining about being cold or the ice or the snow or being tired.........so I didn't!

But, this morning, we (the Officers, Marian, the planning committee and anybody else we could gather from the highways and the byways) had our first conference call to begin planning in earnest for our next Alumnae weekend -- drum roll -- trumpets -- chorus singing!!!!

It was fun, what can I tell you? What a fabulous group! They certainly brought a lot of wonderful love and energy to my day!

Meanwhile, it snowed again this morning.......after our ice and snow from Monday. In the past 7 weeks, we have had 5 snow storms. This is not normal winter weather for St. Louis. We might get a snow or two -- but it's been a few winters since we've had this much snow. And we are like 11 inches over our norm. Even the schools don't want any more snow days -- a sure sign there has been enough snow!

So, in the midst of it falling, we had our meeting and made some plans - -and it's going to be a great weekend! I can't wait!
